I'm new to trail riding in the area (but a long-time cottager).  Where is the "extreme" or "bypass" trail in the South Seguin Club area that I've heard about?

This is the Top C/By pass trail behind Quality Inn/Jolly Roger.   The trail crosses 518 and continues on to 124.  Lots of steep hills.   Don't believe it's open yet.

I drive by it all the time where it cross McDougall Road  east of Parry Sound.  Gates still closed, not a sled has been through.
This trail is one of the last to be opened as theres a swamp just after the road section on McDougall that has issues with flooding and freezing.

They really need to have a re-route of this.  Perhaps run the road a few hundred meters more and get permission to enter from the gravel pit.   That would be ideal!

I rarely see it open until mid january the earliest

Trail 310

Does anyone know if trail 310 from C102 to Star Lake will ever be open. It was closed last year, and is still closed. Is this trail now history?

The Star Lake trail or 310 will be closed all season due to land owner permission.  He got tired of getting his property damaged repeatedly.

What kind of damage was done? Was it due to sleds riding off trail?
It seems like regular sledding on groomed trail with enough snow would not do any damage to people's land.
We had a problem with sleds leaving the trail at the end of our lake. The landowner wanted to close the trail but we were able to eliminate the problem by putting up some simple fencing and signage. So far, everyone has respected the boundaries.
