Traditionally, map advertisers have been local accommodation or dining type businesses who are located on the trail that benefit directly from snowmobile traffic, however the past few years has seen a variety of businesses vying for a position on our map.

PSSD produces 20,000 copies which are distributed at trade shows such as Super Trax, through information centers province wide and by the businesses on the map. Showing your support encourages sledders to support your business during any season, whether they arrive on a sled or not!

Business Signs are created and leased for the purpose of directing the snowmobiler to your place of business. PSSD Member Clubs re-invest the proceeds of these signs back into our system - the trail system in the form of trail maintenance. Our policy remains that only signs leased under the PSSD program are allowed on our trail system. Any other signs will be removed.
(Location subject to clubs approval, and expires April 1st, 2005).
Signs are 6" x 24" and are created on a green background with white reflective lettering.
Signs are not only a good idea to pull sledders off the trail to visit your establishment but if you are providing accommodations they are an excellent way to get your visitors "home" for the night.

Offered exclusively to our map advertisers is the "Official PSSD Business Directory Listing" on our website www.pssd.ca. Here is where you will have exclusive opportunity as a map advertiser to market your business to the thousands of snowmobilers who visit us on the world wide web! With the huge increase in the number of snowmobilers making use of our site for trip planning and with further improvements and updates planned, we expect those numbers to continue to grow. Visitors to our site tell us that it is informative when looking for local weather reports, trail conditions, club events, permit purchasing, and of course, our business directory where they can find unique sections such as: accommodations, dining, fuel, and snowmobile businesses. Listings in our directory sell for a nominal charge of just $40.00 for the first category, and $5.00 for each additional category. Based on demand, a series of 3ft x 4ft signboards containing our maps at strategic locations throughout our trail system have been installed. Space has been allocated on the left side of the board for 6 ads (10” wide be 6” high). Unlike our regular sign program, these signs will be able to be in full color, so if you want to make use of your logo or a photo of your establishment we can handle it. Participating supporters will have the benefit of displaying their ads on (5) of the (20) sign boards for only $200.00 + GST payable in advance. The ad space is yours from October 1st, 2007 to September 30, 2008, at which time you can renew your ad space for the upcoming season at half of the initial cost. When providing us with artwork, supply us with text, photos, logos, etc. or you can supply us your ad digitally as an EPS, TIFF or PDF file (saved at 150 DPI).
With the new OFSC Go Snowmobiling Show in September and the traditional Toronto International Centre Snowmobile, ATV and Powerboat Show we have brought on a new program to help offset the costs incurred in attending shows without taking money directly off the trails. With this new program we offer you "business presence" at both shows without the overhead and manpower costs. Simply put, you will have the opportunity to get your existing brochure/pamphlet/etc. into the hands of the thousands of visitors to our booth for a very low cost.
